ABOUT US

In many developing African countries, the leading causes of death among children and pregnant women are diseases with effective and low-cost prevention or treatment strategies.

The infant mortality rate in Togo is 44.5 deaths per 1000 live births, and the maternal mortality rate is 396 deaths per 100,000 live births. The lack of good hygiene practices and financial means, combined with the scarcity of resources in health facilities, affects the chances of survival for children and pregnant women. Anti-Plasmo Network was created in 2018 to work in collaboration with healthcare providers to prevent and treat such diseases in Togo and beyond its borders.

Being conscious of our shared humanity, the association “ANTI-PLASMO NETWORK” stands for compassion and reciprocal well-being for each other. The association “ANTI-PLASMO NETWORK” emphasizes the wellness, interconnection of our shared humanity, and responsibility for each other for the common good.
